Family Vacation to Fiji - Day 1 June 2024

Bula Bula! We had a magical vacation this year this year in Fiji. I was so looking forward to this trip. Fiji has been a dream destination of mine. We always start our vacations with a pic on board a plane.

We landed in Nadi, Viti Levu, Fiji and then took this small plane to Savusavu in Vanua Levu, Fiji. Planes this small always make me a little bit nervous. Savusavu is the second largest city on the second largest island (110 miles long) in Fiji.

Fiji was even more beautiful than I thought it would be. We found an incredible deal renting an Airbnb called Sega Na Leqa which means "no worries". Here is a tour of the property. It has three special buildings called bures. We loved staying here.

We loved having a private pool on the grounds and were often in it multiple time a day.

The view of the ocean at sunset was amazing from the deck of the property.

The sunset was stunning almost every night we were there.

The host of Sega Na Leqa offered the availability of a private chef to come in and cook for us during our stay. We had the chef cook for us on our first night in Fiji. The food was delicious - fish with garlic cream sauce, hot & spicy prawns, and chicken curry. It was a great start to our vacation.
