Saturdays have been tough. Check-in time at the pool for a meet is usually 5:30 a.m. It is kind of pretty watching the sunrise over the pool.

| This picture was taken by Stacy while we were setting up for the last meet. That bright yellow glow is one of the pool lights. |
Boogs usually swims 5 events at each meet. I love that they Sharpie the events on his arm, makes it so convenient for me to take a picture so I don't miss an event.
The meets usually end around 12:45 p.m. Boogs and I are tired and want to spend the rest of our Saturdays relaxing at home.
Boogs form has improved so much this year.
Boogs is part fish. He loves being in the water. I love that swimming is such great exercise for him. Of course, summer swim season isn't really all about the pool. There is also the fun of hanging out in the swimmer's tents with your friends for hours at a time.
The first and last swim meets look pretty much the same in the tents.
Boogs loves it!
What more could a ten-year-old want out of a Saturday morning than swimming, hanging with friends, eating snacks, and playing video games?
Oh wait, there is one more thing...
...the Kona Ice truck! Boogs gets a snowcone every Saturday from the first meet to the last meet.
In between all of that eating and socializing, Boogs makes some time to swim a few strokes.

It has been a fun season. We can't wait for next May to do it all again.
