We had a wonderful summer with lots of travel. I was sad to see the last week of summer vacation heading my way so I knew I wanted to cram in as much fun as possible.
My husband went hiking with me at Balcones Canyonland National Wildlife Refuge. We love all the shade of the trails there.
Chris and I found out about a place called The Art Garage in Austin. They have a Walk In And Create space for making mosaics, pottery painting, and glass fusion. Chris and I decided to make mosaic snails.
We found out after we finished gluing that they give you the grout to take home and complete the mosaic on your own. This is what they looked like when we left the Art Garage.
I wish summer would have lasted longer. I tried to get someone to go with me to New Mexico for a last weekend camping trip but no one could (or would) go.
