My Little Helper

Boogs has been working hard this summer to help out, complete his chores, and to earn some spending money. I am finding all kinds of ways to help him earn a little extra money for his pinball arcade trips with Daddy. Boogs has been pulling weeds, watering plants, helping fold & put away laundry, scrubbing toilets, dusting, and helping me keep things organized. I re-organized my pantry and spice cabinet and was very happy to have Boogs alphabetize the spices for me. Boogs makes up songs and games while we do chores around the house. I wish I had recorded the "weed pulling game" he made up the other day. It involved water bombs that made the weeds grow out of control, points for how quickly you can clear out an area, and even a little weed pulling song. Chores can be fun! What chores and jobs do your children do around the house?
Alphabetizing the spices. Boogs thought this was a fun activity and
did not even realize it was a "learning" activity.
